Hyaluronic acid
Injecting hyaluronic acid to the lips is an increasingly popular procedure, whether to correct an asymmetry, rehydrate the lip, correct an overly gummy smile or add definition to the lips. The procedure also helps smoker’s wrinkles (occurring around the mouth) by restoring support to these surface wrinkles.
The procedure could also be of great interest for someone with very thin lips. It’s not well known, but lips atrophy with age. Treatment to replump the lips therefore has a very rejuvenating effect. It is also possible to better support the corners of the lips with hyaluronic acid so that people whose mouth gives them a sad appearance as they age can look more cheerful.
